Brick, the son of a rich southern plantation owner, is drinking himself to death over some hidden pain. His wife Maggie is desperate to regain his love. Brick’s father, known as Big Daddy, has returned from a clinic where he has gone for serious health issues, but has been told he has a clean bill of health. Brick’s brother and his scheming wife have hopes of inheriting the huge plantation. Eventually a long conversation between Brick and his father bring out all the lies that have been tearing the family apart.
Inspiration: I have adapted Tennessee Williams's stage play as the television event. I love his work and I really wanted this classic play and four others he wrote to come back to the screens once more.
Looking For: Production Team, Producer, Director, Cast, Crew, Composer and Option

Hi Lwazi!
I’ve never watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, so I’ve no idea of how good your screenplay is as a comparison to the original theatre production. And I don’t know if it’s a word for word recital (I suspect it had to be adapted to some degree). I didn’t read it all, but I think your descriptions are great, and the dialogue is equally good. The characterizations really come through as a result of the dialogue.
I would suggest (if sending your script to others), that you don’t put everything in capital letters. I’m not particular about the way people style there writing, but i know producers are very particular. I think it also makes for easier reading when writing is not all in capitals. I’m not sure what software you use, but for good formatting (and to easily convert capitals to small letters) I would suggest Celtx. You can use the free online version (but it’s limited unless you buy it), or you can download an old (free) version of it.
